QUARTZGRIP FIBREGLASS (FRP) OPEN MESH FLOOR GRATING.
|
During manufacture Continuous glass fibre woven roving’s are systematically laid in alternating bi-directional layers within a large heated waffle mould and thoroughly impregnated with a liquid thermoseting resin. The matrix is then thoroughly compressed to ensure a thorough wetting of the fibres and to remove any voids. The mould is then left to cure, before being ejected from the mould. The one-piece interwoven square mesh design produces two primary benefits: maximum corrosion resistance and high strength multi-directional spanning. The glass fibre structural core provides strength, with the polyester resin providing corrosion resistance. A durable and hardwearing angular Quartz Grit is applied to the top surface to provide an effective Anti Slip finish
Smooth Surface, natural Concave Surface, or Conductive Gritted Surface gratings are available upon request.
