Whether you’re building a whole new staircase or simply replacing rotten wood or corroded steel stair treads, Step on Safety’s QuartzGrip GRP Anti-Slip Stair Treads remain slip-resistant whatever the weather.
Made to order in the UK from 38mm Standard Open Mesh Grating in a range of sizes and colours, they can be fixed to the staircase frame using our GRP Fixings. The open mesh prevents rain, snow and other slip hazards from pooling on the surface. Anti-Slip Stair Nosing in contrasting colours is fitted as standard to enable you to comply with Documents M and K and the Equalities Act guidelines. The nosing is rebated and bonded to the mesh to ensure a trip-free finish. All the staircases, mobile access platforms, step overs and ships ladders we build, feature our GRP Anti-Slip Stair Treads as standard.
If your existing steps are still structurally sound, you could opt to improve safety by adding stair coverings Anti-Slip Stair Tread Covers or Stair Nosing.
