Extend your handrail with SafeRail Add-On Sections. Start with a Complete Section and just keep going! Using pre-fabricated sections is the fastest way to add permanent edge protection on your site. All you need to do is bolt the legs down and connect the top rail. Available in hi-vis yellow or grey.

Make it your own
SafeRail Add-on Sections can be made in a mix of grey and yellow – grey uprights with yellow top rail is a popular combination. You can also add infill panels made of grey or yellow SafeScreen machine guard mesh to discourage climbing and self-closing safety gates. SafeRail is the handrail system the Step on Safety teams prefer to work with and you’ll find it on almost all of our GRP fabrications from Step Overs to Staircases. It’s versatile and can be built to any configuration to suit corners, ramps and steps. You can build it yourself from scratch using SafeRail components or we can design and install it for you. When configured and installed correctly SafeRail Complete Sections comply with BS 7818: 1995 – Specification for Pedestrian Restraint in Metal. NB: there is currently no safety standard for GRP handrails
